Embracing being outnumbered…{Apollo Beach FL lifestyle and family photographer}

“I used to say, I got this…now I say, Nope! I don’t got this and I need help!”
Fallon and Justin were very content with their three, healthy boys and thought their family was complete. And at that point, I’d like to think that God chuckled and along came the twins!  Through the stress and strain of raising five little boys, they are nothing but extremely grateful for these little lives that have been entrusted to them and are doing an amazing job.

There’s a boy for every personality and it doesn’t take long to figure out which one is the watchful protector and thoughtful one. The observer, comedian and the climber. Every family has a climber. Two things are extremely clear with all of them though. They love and respect their mommy and daddy and each other.

I cherished the time I got to spend this afternoon with Fallon, hearing her heart and watching another couple embrace the organized and not so organized chaos of parenthood. Truth is, I think I needed her more this day than she needed me.

It won’t be this way forever. The dust will settle from sippy cups, diapers, wiping tooshies, mediating fights, kissing boo boos and the thousands of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We kept these little people alive and not just alive, but helped them become well rounded, God fearing, souls-fed and nurtured. Being a {good} parent is gloriously difficult. Thank you Fallon for reminding me to embrace this stage in my life of being a mother to little ones. You are truly an encouragement and inspiration.
